    So in practice you can not use digital games used?

    That's not what Microsoft promised when it announced the new generation!

    .Access or attempt to access accounts that you do not own.

    CD Required to play a game

    I prefer discs, it means i can lend out to friends and vice versa, more freedom, trade them in if i no longer use the game. If i buy digital i can never sell it on if im ever short of cash or just want to trade in for something else

    Trading, borrowing and selling games....

    I used to trade-in games fairly often, but these days I can't trade 'em in or sell 'em, so it's a bit of a moot point for me. However, I do lend or just give out games to people I know so they can get some enjoyement out of them. In particuilar I like to
    loan games that I know they may never have gotten a chance to play due to low funds. Since money is tight these days they'll keep their money for games they're really confident about and ignore smaller, less known titles, so it's nice to let them get a shot
    of such games and experience titles that might now have otherwise.

    Sharing games: Xbox One vs. PS4

    From what I see, there are differences between selling, trading, giving, and sharing.

    Selling/trading - you will be able to sell, and trade in to most (if not all) major retailers. Or any retailers that have contacted MS etc.

    giving the game/transfer licence - The person you want to give the game to must be friend of at least 30 days. It can only be done once for each disc.

    Lending/sharing - Lending is the same as sharing in this instance, because you are not physically removing the game from your library.

    You can't transfer the content between accounts, you can not buy/lend/trade/sell accounts either (against the CoC).

    Stepping away from that for a moment, your profile can use anything he bought on that console unless his profile does a license transfer somewhere else.

    The content could be moved to your other xbox only if he performs a license transfer with his account.

    Just because there isn't any subscription doesn't mean the account is dead - its just not a paid subscriber.

    ^dont quote him on that...it was also stated I would be able to buy/sell//trade/lend digital games when xbox one announced and they backtracked on that.

    I'll just lend my older games out to others.

    The trade-in price is just too low for me to justify selling my games.
