These security proofs *** me out of my account. Thanks microsoft

Unbelievable. I cant log into my xboxlive cause of security proof updates. The saved password does't even work and I get a error to try again later...Of course I go to xbox live support and then had it escalated on my forgotten password...Those losers in
escalation didn't help me at all regardless of the fact that they have my console ID number and purchases over the last 7 years on record. Instead they make a lame excuse that my email account is suspended and they cant help suspended emails (her derp circular
logic)

Then I'm suppose to attempt to recover that account and answer information from 7 years ago on an email account I don't use.(Seriously?)

Its all just absolutely ridiculous. Now my account that I've had for 7 years and a 20,000 gamer score is locked out cause microsoft intends to do its best to *** everyone off. Then they wonder why they are losing badly
right now to Sony.

Thank you microsoft for making my decision easy. When I do make the jump to net gen within the next year I will be going with PS4. Maybe one day you'll actually treat your long time customers better...Of course by then you will have alienated most of your
customer base .

Security Proofs...

So I was on Xbox.com and noticed that theres a 30 day trial for Xbox music. I went to register for it and it took me to a white Microsoft page with an email listed and asking me to input a code, now the email belongs to me but it is not the one I have registered
to my xbox Live account, it is infact my security proof email. Now my problem is why is it sending this to a dead email (which by the way I have no idea how it got added as the security proof in the first place) and what is the point in me having a email attached
to my account if things are going to be sent there? I feel like I'm locked out of my own account thanks to this stupid thing and I can't even delete the security address (I've tried)..

You should keep your account information updated in order to keep problems like these happening. You did mention that you are using an email that you placed on the Microsoft account 7 years ago that is no longer in use. That should spark a red flag to have
it changed to your main email account. You should ALWAYS choose security questions and answers that you will remember, such as "Where were you born?. The security checkpoints keeps Xbox Live accounts secure and are a great way to prevent account information
from being stolen. Regardless of what online site or service you use, not keeping account information updated will cause problems one way or another. Hope your issue gets resolved soon.

It still doesn't excuse the fact that they locked me out of my account.

It still doesn't excuse the fact that that Xbox live cant do anything about email accounts. When they are directly tied to xbox live

I answered my security question and gave them my console ID. It wasn't enough.

 

Also the process is self defeating. I can't update my accounts or security. Or change my main email account cause you need a password to do that.

This problem is totally on Microsoft for using a crappy security system that blocks out its own users.
