These are steals, not deals!

So, I went to look at the free Games with Gold promotion this morning to download Super Time Force and saw a sidebar for the Deals with Gold promotion and decided to go ahead and check that out as well. When I did, I was shocked! You can now get The Walking

13,8 GB total HDD (of 20GB HDD premium), how big is the 360 software?

Johan, these 6gb you lost are not only system, may also contain, updates, saves, game profile among many other items, there's no way it will "steal" this space.

 

Yes they are great games but they should also be reduced on Xbox One, no reason not too, just because we have a newer system doesn't mean we shouldn't get offered comparable deals.

 

What!? You mean they're not!? I thought they were (I can't tell because I already purchased them previously)! If what you say is true, then that IS a load of... *ahem* ...is very upsetting.

Still, it doesn't not make it a good deal.

 

As far as I'm aware the discounts are on the 360, not the One, unless that's changed and I'm not aware?

I'm not saying it's not a good deal for 360 owners but it would be nice of them to appreciate their loyal One owners too

 

Rayman and Plants v Zombies are currently full price on the Xbox One.

 

This happens all the time that the same game on X1 doesn't get the discounts. I'm not buying anymore games for my 360 no matter how cheap. I agree with those of you who say the X1 should also get the same deal.

 

You think the publishers will allow their games to be on sale like that on the Xbox one? Don't think so, Give it another year and then you'll see those deals on the Xbox One, not when the system is under a year old.

 

Meh , publishers only got themselves to blame for slack sales if that's how they gonna roll . If a game is on sale then it should be across all platforms .

 

Without a doubt Major, but by that time hard copies will be much cheaper and the game will be older.

I'm sure if they applied the discounts to the One too then they would sell a ton of copies, mainly because the market is starved for games compared to the 360's huge catalogue.

 

It's kind of ironic when you think about it - the title of the thread still holds true. They ARE stealing these great deals from those of us on the One!
