problem with saved games on all games!

Looked into the service. Unfortunately my Xbox One X is just out of warranty. Is the repair service actually $229? Given how common this error is, I feel Microsoft should acknowledge they produced a defective product and repair the affected Xbox One
Xs for free. The $229 charge seems a bit excessive and like a slap in the face since the product was defective from the start. "Here spend $500 on this Xbox One X that's going to break in a year and a few months, then spend another $229 to fix something
that never should have happened in the first place". As a customer since the original Xbox, and owner of multiple versions of the Xbox 360 and 2 Xbox 1 consoles, I am not very happy with Microsoft right now. This will definitely dissuade me from purchasing
any additional Microsoft products in the future.

Followed the new instructions and cleared local saves and alternate MAC address. It seemed to worked for a few minutes. Red Dead Redemption 2 autosaved once, then I got the same 0x80831002 error message.
