Please be guided with the following troubleshooting steps:

Make suere that both Hitman: World of Assassination and the Xbox app are up to date. Open Microsoft Store, go to Library, and update any pending updates for the game or Xbox services.

And then run the game as administrator. To do this, right-click the Hitman: World of Assassination shortcut. Select Run as administrator to see if it bypasses the issue.

Next is to sign out & sign back into Xbox App. Open the Xbox app on your PC.

Click your profile icon in the top right, then Sign Out. Restart your PC, open the Xbox app, and sign back in. Please launch the game again.

Then repair the Game. Do this by opening Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Search for Hitman: World of Assassination.

Click Advanced options, then select Repair.

After that is to disable overlay and background apps. Turn off overlays such as Steam Overlay, Discord Overlay, or Xbox Game Bar since they can cause crashes.
