    Heya Guys! So im a very variety sized gamer i have been an xbox gamer for an extremely long time, At christmas of this year i built a gaming computer and have been gaming on the PC since then. but i had a huge urge to play xbox again, my friend living in
    the UNITED STATES Bought me a xbox card with 25 USD on it. Since it was USD and not CDN it split my microsoft account into two ( please see the gyazo screenshot )

    Now you can clearly see it has split my account into two now i want to purchase gold with my money but when i go on xbox i cannot use this money only can use my canadian money. so i contacted xbox support and they said to go onto change my region and to
    change my region from canada to canada because it will merge both of my accounts together. but it prompted me with that error message.

    Hi Ungunable,

    Are you trying to Buy gold with the 25 USD card ? You can not use the MSA balance on the card to buy gold. If you would like to buy gold you would need to either Purchase A code for 1,3,or 12 month Gold in Canada or use a Canadian Credit card to purchase
    Xbox live gold. The 25 USD can be used to buy content like games,movies, DLC. So if the system is looking for Canadian money for gold then it is doing exactly the correct thing.

    Currency doesnt transfer between regions andnsubscriptions require a reoccuring payment option like the previous poster said

    Only option dor one time payment is peepaid subzcription cards which are now regoin locked
