So, that didn't work. Still getting error 0x80070020 for literally no reason, and it's still reinstalling my games for no reason.

That's absolutely ridiculous. There's literally no reason for that, other than being a cash grab.

DudBug, to be honest I'm impressed that you're dedicated enough to offer these suggestions, considering the company is literally not giving you much reason to go with them, but not to sound too harsh, Microsoft isn't lacking in ideas on how to change this.
There are dozens of threads by now, if not hundreds, with people offering suggestions on what to change here or there, many all but pleading with the company to give them a reason to pick this brand.
