    Hi all, I am trying to download the latest November 2014 update ( I am a preview member also ) but it will get to 10% then constantly kick to "there was a problem" screen.

    I have made multiple attempts to download, both wireless and wired ( my net is fine ) and even tried my neighbours connection. Still no go. The only thing that made progress past 30% was tethering my to my mobile phone via wifi but as you can imagine the
    cost of doing that size update quickly chewed up all my available download. any ideas for a fix ? I would attempt to Factory Reset but I don't want to risk losing all my Destiny progress and DLC placecards.

    I still cannot update, the update stops at 10% and quits.

    If you buy something new from any store and it fails to work as advertised, you are going to be ticked off. I don't care what it is. I have two X1s sitting under the Xmas tree now. And I should have no reason to think they would not instantly function as
    advertised, come Christmas morning.

    Hey there WeapoNisedFisH!

    I am truly sorry to hear about the update issue, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. Since you are participating in the Preview Program, I recommend posting in the Preview
    Forums so that the proper folks can address the issue. Thanks in advance!

    More like you recommend hiding the problem.

    Just think of all the people who are going to leave the preview dashboard if you guys can eventually fix the problem.

    A Xbox live status report would also be nice. Acknowledging there is preview dashboard update problem, so people who can not use their Xbox online have a little bit of knowledge that the problem is being looked into and saves people calling support.

  7. Sorry for late reply. Can you believe I only just got a notification of responses lol. OK so next day I was committed to doing factory reset, tried once more to do update and it worked. No worries. Server congestion maybe ? Btw no such problems since

    update the console offline
    , if retrying the update does not work. Post back and let me know how it goes!
