    Everytime I am able to connect my Xbox One to the internet it will automatically try and update the system. However, once it takes its time, it would bring up an error code (0x8B0500B6). I have tried searching the code up but there is nothing on the code.
    Of anyone is able to help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    If you buy something new from any store and it fails to work as advertised, you are going to be ticked off. I don't care what it is. I have two X1s sitting under the Xmas tree now. And I should have no reason to think they would not instantly function as
    advertised, come Christmas morning.

    Have you tried clearing your cache.

    Sign in on your console and on the 'Home' hub of the dashboard and scroll to the far right, then select the 'Settings' hub.

    Then select the 'System' tile in the upper left.

    From here scroll down x2 and select 'memory.'

    Highlight the HDD and press 'Y', then select 'clear system cache.'

    (A message will pop up saying 'This will perform maintainance on your xbox 360 storage device, do you want to continue?'

    Select 'Yes.'

    Now that you've cleared the cache, pop a game in your console and install the update when prompted. You will need to

    perform this for every title you play after clearing, but it should only be the once per title now (unless future

    updates are released)

    "Reset this console" option via keep games and apps usually works and you don't need USB flash drive for this step! Please tell us what happened.
