    There needs to be a more Human approach to Xbox Enforcement. Just not a forced reactionary...


    Now I don't NEED people to reply to this. It just needs to be said. Those working for the Enforcement department need to confront us personally about our side of these reports instead of just laying down the hammer. That and they need to work on what time
    frames should be implemented as I wasa given a 14 day Enforcement when the last time I "messed up" was back in August of 2016(Two and a half years ago). I say this because this weekend is a terrible time for this and it's all due to some random I beat in D2
    Comp just barely luring me into an argument by messaging me afterwards and I replied(I shouldn't have to go out of my way to block and mute). I think I fixed my settings to where randoms shouldn't have their notifications pop up on me(I hope).

    Of course anyone can say this is a terrible time but I've been having to go through a paternity/custody case over the past few years and it escalated this week. I NEED to be able to talk with my friends and this happening without warning and without being asked
    about my side of things at all really put me in a bind as I just game with my friends on Xbox and I can't talk with friends or at least occupy my mind without my friends being able to be contacted. I don't have my daughter this weekend and I just needed the
    friends and they're all off living their lives, working and just living afar and Xbox brings us together. Xbox is a connection between my friends and when it's severed by a troll playing my emotions(which are usually pretty heated coming out of close D2 Comp
    matches. Well just D2 PvP in general if I'm being honest lol) then I'm even more upset because I feel wronged by a system that SHOULD NEVER BE A BLE TO be manipulated like that(and I know it can be manipulated because I saw a post not too long after mine talking
    on the Enforcement policy and how her kid got Enforced).

    It needs to be tweaked and personalized because I don't play Xbox to message hate mail to other people or make people feel like poop(except through gunplay but that's allowed through gameplay lol). And after being a customer since 2002 I would really like to
    be confronted when I may have done wrong instead of just being reprimanded without due process and like I said being asked my side of whatever happened. It just needed to be pointed out. Microsoft is a multi-Billion $ company and should be able to attain this
    type of a process so people who have a possibility of being wrongly Enforced don't(removing a good chunk of the Submit Cases before they're even Enforced). Thank you for your time.

    There are strict guidelines on what is and isn't allowed and the rules are implemented on those. You have to consider may people never receive any enforcement's against them while others seem to repeatedly run into trouble. Hence the enforcement times
    get greater for each infringement. It's a matter of becoming informed on what is and isn't allowed and making sure you stay within them. It can easily become a tit for tat between two people who did what first. Hence they merely take the report, review
    the content reported and act. If the other person is reported the same will happen to them, both receive the same treatment. I'm not sure that should change.

    But why allow someone to harass a player and use their first "two strikes" before reaching the third? If that approach were made public, you would have trolls that would game the system in just that manner and push the limits. As such, it is better to
    set the threshold far lower.

    I agree that Enforcement need some overhauling... its 2019 things need to be done smoother and in a very approachable way thay should give you 3 warning rule at first you get a message about what happened and then if the behavior keeps going another warning
    over the email and the xbox account to make sure you read it but if you fail the 3rd time now its time to be banned for some time and depending on the severity of the action is the time it needs to take that person out... that way its fair game I dont incur
    on those behaviors but I recognize the way it is its not doing the best they can...

    Try to talk with them to see what was the reason for the sanction and make them see that it was not intentional

    Like I said I think I got my settings to no longer show nonfriend message notifications(the main thing I hate is when I have unread Xbox messages showing as a notification in my Snap bar lol).

    I will also point out I have the opinion that just like on a hiring process I despise the use of automated system because once again: context and situation are huge parts of what happens and without asking you won't know the full picture. Just the side of the
    person reporting. Flawed. It doesn't take away from what I'm trying to say.

    Again this goes back to my point of Ambassadors acting like there is no room for improvement. That irks me like no other. Automation isn't a solution when it has such situational flaws that affect people undeservedly. Gamers can be adults. I would rather
    be told what I did wrong rather than be left guessing and have nothing to learn from it since I don't know what instance(s) brought the Enforcement. Especially when I think I know what the Enforcement is for but am not 100% positive. I'm an adult. I can learn
    and do better. I would just rather be confronted personally on it than something like that impact my life and ability to communicate with my Clan and Xbox Friends I've made over the years just out of the blue without warning.
