    I've had Java edition of minecraft ever since it came out. When I try to play, i'm always stuck on demo mode because apparently there is a problem with my region settings. Here is the exact text word for word. "There may be a problem with your account region settings that could impact your ability to access your games. For information on how to update these settings, visit our support page" I have already tried all the things listed, such as changing my region settings, checking if my region settings are correct, updating my pc, trying old launchers to see if they work, checking for updates on the microsoft store, and etc. And yes my pc is up to date, I have directly installed from the microsoft store and since that didn't work I tried installing from the main website. Also, this is the only game that I am having problems with so I don't know what is going on. I've triend reinstalling it several times, and looked all over the internet for answers but nothing came up.

    Hi Rachael. Let’s do our best to sort this out.

    Are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11? Do you use a Minecraft Launcher or you just directly installed the game from Microsoft Store or Xbox app?

    Is it the only game you’re having issues with regional settings?

    Please make sure that your computer has the correct location set on it.

    Don’t forget to check for your Windows updates and also get all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

    You may need to change your Xbox account region here, make sure that you will be setting it for your physical location:

    Hi, your account region and physical location must match, I believe that your problem is that they don't. You would need to create a new account with the correct regional setting. Another problem may be that the content isn't actually available in Korea
    so even creating a new account may not resolve this.

    Most codes are region-locked. If your account's region and the code's region don't match, you may not be able to redeem the code. In order to change the locale of your account (this may help the translation problems), follow these steps:

    1.Go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.

    2.Select Console Settings.

    3.Select Language and Locale.

    4.Select Locale, and then select the location where you live.

    Unfortunately, you can't change the region of your account. Hopefully locale is the only problem you're having. Hope this helps!
