yes if you run a game or any apps , especially anything with an active internet connection that needs to send or recieve data this will affect download speeds.

this is the same if you have any other devices connected to your internet it will have an adverse affect on downloading any apps or games.

I'm running on my wired university connection, and I keep getting random signouts and pages loading at dial-up speeds too.



My speed's at 57 Mbps down and 31 up, obviously not Wal-Mart internet.

only thing i can think of is loads of people are using it or your speeds are affecting it

if you are running a game close it down xbox slows down download speed when a game is running to reduce lag.

Maybe you run your test in a moment of heavy load for Microsoft servers so the max speed is lowered down so all users can enjoy a stable connection, remember also that download games or updates have less priority than online gaming because download at
