There is a screw in left trigger of my pad that keeps it from being pressed!!

Try going to the System Info page (Settings > System Settings > Console Settings > System Info) and press "Left Trigger" "Right Trigger" "X" "Y" "Left Bumper" "Right Bumper" "Down With The D-Pad" "Down With The D-Pad Again" "Up With The D-Pad" "X"

Test around with all your buttons, press back, left trigger, right, the d-pad, click in, etc.

I found one. Chime in if this does not match with what you know.

yep im on my 4th xbox one pad , the left thumbstick keeps messing up an keeps sticking an making a clicking noise when I press down on it these xbox one pads are crap I would love to get my money back and buy a ps4

I'm having a similar issue as well, just that my left trigger is constantly being pressed, even when not pulling the trigger...hope we can still get replacement Day One Controllers.
