There is a scammer named [mod removed]

So my son was in contact with some scammer named [mod removed] on IG. He asked my son to send him the Xbox card and hw was to send him a code to play a game. Well he ended up taking the code using it and blocking my son. Why my son thought this was ok i
have no clue. So I am trying to get in contact with Microsoft and can’t to have them track it so we can possibly get our money back. I’ve reported the page to IG. Please be ware of this guy.

All you can do is
report him on your console although there isn't an option to day they've scammed you.. I'm not sure they an do anything to get your money back unfortunately.

The best thing is to mute, block and report him on your Xbox and report the Account on IG too. In that case the account should be deleted on IG too.

I would definitely let Microsoft know . But as with anything on the Internet you need to be safe . No one should ask for codes money etc.
