There is a problem with your saved games

Hi, i keep getting an issue on my three week old Xbox One X telling me that i need to delete my local saves and restore from cloud backups. When i do this, i get another, different error screen when the system restarts. After starting up again, restoring
my saves from the cloud, (which has actually made me lose hours of gameplay) i then get the same message the next time my game tries to autosave, and have to go through the whole thing again. Is there an actual fix for this issue, or should I look to return
my system under warranty and seek a repair or replacement?

Another thing I dont understand is that i have the achievements unlocked for things i have already completed, yet my last cloud save takes me back hours before this was gained.

Can someone please advise on what I should do next?

Error code 0x80831002

Now, this has sometimes popped up before, and I've dismissed it as games seemed to be working fine.

However, last week it wouldn't go away, closing or going to settings as linked did nothing and it would instantly pop back up again. So I hard reset my console and took it's advice and cleared my local saved games.

Thing is, it just popped up again, and again wouldn't go away. I've only played two games since removing local files! Will clear local saves again.

Can I fix this thing? Is my brand new One X screwed already?!

hi there I have been getting an error message a few times now saying "There is a problem with your saved games delete and sync them again. I have done this several times and still getting this message. I 've been playing dark souls remastered and once this
error message pips up the game stops saving and I have lost a bit of progress. Please could you let me know a fix or what's wrong. Cheers

Sorry for the issue with the console. Being it is less than a month old some stores have a 30 day return policy, you can try that if you like. Other than that we can have you do a

Soft factory reset in case a system file is causing this issue. When you do the reset select keep games and apps. make sure of two things a stable internet connection available. Make sure know email/password for all accounts on the console due to it does
remove profiles.

You might also try removing the account then signing back in. This will force a resync of your data.
