    "There is a problem with your saved games" Error Code (0x80831002) Not allowing me to play...


    I have played Minecraft Xbox One Edition many times for over a year now on disc. However, a couple of days ago it gave me the error code as in the title (0x80831002). I have seen other posts about this, however, they mainly seem to be about games on download;
    my game is on disc. When the notification pops up it tells me to 'Clear local saved games'. I want to know before I do this if I will lose any save data like worlds on Minecraft or any other save data for any other games on my Xbox. And I would also like to
    know if there is any other way to fix the issue. Thank you.

    So I recently tried the suggested solution above and I am still getting "there is a problem with your saved games" error code: 0x80831002.

    Everything is up to date.

    Hey Nathan thanks for keeping in touch!

    As stated by XBF Amber M the saves are automatically saved to the cloud, no subscription is needed it is all done automatically as long as the console is connected to the internet.
    Go ahead and try clearing the game cache:

    How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

    Settings

    System

    Storage

    Clear Local Saved Games

    Yes and Restart

    IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.
