There is a problem with settings.

Good Evening, My name is . I was busy trying to solve my problem my settings button where when I select settings it says “You need to install a game or app for this. Make sure you you’re signed in to Xbox, then look for it in Microsoft Store” There is an error code of 0x80270254. When I click search, it take s me to the Xbox store where there are no search results for settings. How do I fix this?

But my Xbox one is diskless and has no eject button.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Please try doing the factory reset sequence below to sort out the issue.

- Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

- Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

- Wait 30 seconds.

- Plug the power cord back in.

- Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

- Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

- Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

- You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

- The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

- Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have the option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything

That's weird. It should show 1080p. Take a look around and play around with a couple settings to see if you can't get it to pop up.

Hi Alexander,

So, when trying to access the Marketplace in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on a teen account using the Xbox 360, there is an error message. The error message was "You do not have sufficient Xbox Live privileges to access this feature" and the settings are
not blocked.

Does the account have issues with any other games?

I would recommend purchasing
Xbox Live Gold.
