Or as the poster above has already suggested download your profile, sometimes when you upgrade to gold it doesn't take effect on your console immediately.

Your internet connection could be interfering try resetting router and console as a hard reset. then try to share again. Also if the Child account is set as Child and yours is adult that could cause issues as well if problems persist contact support
