There are no SmartGlass connection setting on my preferences in xbox one

Check your settings on XboxOne settings page.

From your settings page select "Preferences" now look to the right of page. Make sure you have selected either (from any SmartGlass device) - ( Only From profiles signed in on this Xbox )

If selected is ( Don't allow SmartGlass connection ) your issues should be over once changed and saved!!

So... Settings>Preferences>SmartGlass Connections: only from profiles signed in on this xbox. "That's my preference"

On the Xbox One console, navigate to 'All settings', scroll down to 'Preferences', and then select 'Game DVR & streaming'. If you do not see that option, your Xbox One console may not be updated. Within the 'All settings' menu, scroll down to 'System' and
select 'Console info & updates' to update your Xbox One!

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app already? Is your console set up to allow smartglass connections? Settings > Preferences > Smartglass connections.

- Check that the correct version of SmartGlass installed on your iPhone 5 as there is two versions available - Xbox One SmartGlass

- Sign into both SmartGlass and the Xbox One using the same Windows passport (Gamertag) credentials.

- Check that your Xbox One allows SmartGlass connections

1. Press the Xbox button to return to Home.
2. Press the Menu button, and then select Settings.
3. In the Console settings column, select Preferences.
4. Under SmartGlass Connections select From any SmartGlass device.
