There are no servers to play on anymore?

same here. no games since i downloaded. crap service

 

I downloaded the game three days ago, played some SP and the day after i wanted to try MP so i got prompted to download a 1.7Gb update as soon as i clicked the "Multiplayer" tab.

I downloaded the update and had no problems connecting to EA server and no problems joining matches.

When i tried to set up a squad and play with my friend, who never got the update, he got constantly kicked from the squad whenever i got into a game. He could join games by himself, but he really had to spam the join button and it took time.

As he never got the update i wanted to investigate if i would experience the same thing if i removed my update or at least see if we could join games together when non of us had the update, so i did. I didn't get the prompt to download the update again and
now i can't join any games at all. Yesterday i couldn't even join the EA servers.

It's not right to complain when you've been given something for "free", but it amazes me how MS hasn't been able to handle this better and quicker. BC2 is a very popular game and MS, XBOX, EA, whatever, know that and should've been prepared for this and
handle to fix the update issues a lot quicker.

 

so it sounds like I have to update

 

typical of ea,anyone who has bf3 or 4 know what im talking about,same with fightnight champion taking the xp you bought

 

I've been wanting them to release more multiplayer GWG to breath life into great games with dwindling communities (blur still being my top hope ) so gave them props for their choice.. but maybe that's not such a good idea if this is any example.
