There are no servers to play on anymore?

I selected all game modes, all levels, and it can't find any servers after trying for an hour straight? Is there really not even a single other person in the entire world playing this online right now?

there are no HC official servers, if anyone says there are, show em, and i will be happy to play on one

Are there many people playing on the dedicated servers to make buying the map packs worthwhile?

When I play it says there's only about 40 people at most in my area (most matches are filled with bots) and there seem to be next to no people playing this anymore. But I can't play on dedicated servers, so is that the total for player hosted games?

 

Same. I think EA either shut down the servers, or they're doing maintenance

 

The servers are still up, i played about 10 matches today, but about 8:30 this eve the servers went down, probably due to a lot more players than they have had for the past year or 2. Hopefully they will sort some more servers out for this now there is more
players again

 

Funny thing is EA should of known to get the servers up and running. Since its free with games with gold. Of course it gonna get populated fast. Actually shocked EA handed this game out for free. Shocked this and BC1 wasn't part of the server cut off
list. Cheap as they are. Cheapskates cut off BF2MC and it wasn't like there was tons of demanding maintenance for it. They should of left like 5 lobbies open for BF2MC.

 

is this month's 1st game with gold only half a game or are they sorting out the online would be nice if xbox let us know because as much as they tell you it's free we are still paying money for the gold status

 

Apparently, there is some 1.6 gig update that many of us are missing. Those who got to do the update can play online. The rest of us who were never prompted to do the update can't.

 

That must be why. Is it the VIP pass? It is free to install. I will try that.

 

No, I have downloaded that pass and can't play. The VIP pass is only a small file; the one we're missing is over 1 gig. I bought the Veitnam DLC before I knew about this problem, but that game mode doesn't exist for me when I play because I don't have the
compatability pack.

 

I only got that 1.6gb update after going to weapons section on the main menu

 

My friend has tried every available menu option but never got an update.

 

I had the same issue. Just give it a lilttle time and it will work itself out. I couldnt get on yesterday but played for a couple hours this morning with no issues.

 

I've spoken to someone who has the update. From the dashboard, when I look at the game details, extras and see all, I see 36 files. When he does the same, he sees 37.

 

Is it the BFBC2 Vietnam Multiplayer Update? That thing is 1.64 GB
