The YouTube app is not working on the RS2 beta

YouTube can't connect in the latest couple of builds of RS2. When I attempt to do so, I get the error:

"Sorry, could not connect to YouTube." I also get the an error trying to use Edge on the XBox one, trying to connect to www.youtube.com., with the error message saying "Can' connect to the website.". I have no issues from any other devices going to the
YouTube site via a web browser, only on my XBox One in the RS2 beta.

well the issue at the time was with the app it self i was having issues launching the app but the issue from two days ago has ceased to be an issue has of yesterday I'm glad someone replied to my question though thank you The only thing i seem to be experiencing
right now has of yesterday night was with a streaming videos within the app i cleared out the cookies and the history hoping that would solve the issue but no dice I'm going to check on it right now to see if the issue has stopped because it was only playing
a few seconds into the video maybe a minuet then it try to load but it would take awhile

What is exactly happening on your end when you try using the YouTube app? Are you having a load up issue when you launch the app itself or are you experiencing an issue with streaming videos within the app?

As of the build of this past weekend (1/22/17), YouTube is now working again.

I have the EXACT same issue! So frustrating, my OneDrive is more time consuming to deal with, and pointless in my opinion, since I only care to upload to YouTube. No one can seem to answer why it does this

I'm having trouble with the YouTube app not even opening! I have it pinned and nothing happens when I press the button when the icon's highlighted. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still won't run.

Thanks for the reply guys. I figured it out. After deleting the app from my hard drive, I had to reboot the whole console. Then I redownloaded the app and viola!... it worked again.
