    Hi.

    The youtube app is authorized from the second input.

    The first entry lasts long. There is no youtube login after login.

    Then I exit the app, wait 10 seconds, start the youtube app again.

    Login is fast and authorization is performed.

    How to fix?

    uploading from the youtube app

    am desperately looking for help please

    i wanted to start uploading game clips to youtube. i dont have a pc or laptop, so did not want to go down the one drive direction.

    after watching a few videos online for some tips i realised it looked very simple to start uploading clips from the youtube xbox one app.

    i have downloaded the app, signed in to the app, and then have gone to library as the videos online showed. however, on these videos it then shows lots of different stuff inside the library, including the upload option.

    when i go into the library though, all i see is one section which is saved playlists, and the only option i have is to backout to the last screen.

    i have been trying for 3 days straight to fix it. im at a complete loss and am hoping someone can help.

    Sorry @caseofbase, the pairing done between the YouTube app on your Android tablet and the Xbox One is a function implemented by google/youtube itself. You will need to contact their support to see if they have this ability.

    Xbox One SmartGlass is a separate app that can be paired with your Xbox One console for various control, input, social, and 2nd screen companion experiences (and it will remember your pairing The youtube app is authorized from the second input. :), but unfortunately it does not function that well specifically
    with controlling the YouTube app at this time (YouTube is working on a fix for that).

    Is Smart Glass control support supposed to work with the Youtube app?

    I'm sorry Pete but this is a known issue with the YouTube app that it does not support IR or SmartGlass input. They are working on a fix for this.

    Also this "new youtube" on microsoft edge is so much slower, no thumnail for months now, it lags the page for 30 seconds, then stutters, the loads in 140p, stutters lags some more. Every input is a 5 second delay, update your app to include comments 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

    facebook on xbox

    From Facebook, I searched for the App "Xbox LIVE" and authorized it to have access to my Facebook information. This included a step of logging in to LIVE. After that, I was able to login from the Xbox. I was able to share an achievement, but I had to enter
    my FB credentials a second time, and authorize the post. Now when I check my authorized Facebook apps, "Xbox LIVE" appears twice, with different information under each. Anyway, as far as I can tell, there are no instructions stating the FB App authorization
    prerequisite. The only clue I found was in the "Remove the connection to Facebook" section of the "Post to Facebook from your Xbox 360 console" topic, which mentions removing the application. Maybe if I had tried to share an achievement first, this might have
    worked; I had only tried the Facebook icon on the dashboard.
