    The Xbox Store doesn't allow me to purchase Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition.


    Hey there,

    Last Friday I downloaded Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition, since it was available during the Free to Play days. Those days are now over. When I try to purchase Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition, it says 'You already own this product.'
    No, I don't! I played it during the Free to Play days but I never bought it! My purchase history confirms that I've never bought the game. What can I do the purchase the game? I'd really like to continue playing it.

    Can't reinstall Shadow of Mordor? Help!!!

    Hiya guys!

    Here's the standard edition of
    Shadow of Mordor     and the
    Shadow of Mordor GOTY    .

    Just searched on the Xbox One marketplace and both editions are listed. The Xbox Store doesn't allow me to purchase Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition. :)

    Hey Ernest -

    Is it possible you're looking at the prices for the different versions of the game? On the website I can see that the

    Xbox 360 version     of the game is $10.99 while the
    Xbox One Game of the Year     version is priced differently.

    If that is not the situation, could you provide us with screenshots of what you are seeing please?

    I just did a quick search in the games store on the xbox one, And I'm showing Shadow of Mordor pre order edition. You may want to manually type that in the search within the games store section. Once purchased you will then be able to pre-load it.

    Sorry to see any issues with purchasing Shadow of Mordor! I'm able to see it both on the

    Xbox 360 Marketplace here    , and on the
    Xbox One Store    . There is the
    base game version     on the Xbox One that shows as "Not Available", and that's because the only way to purchase the game at this time is through the Game of the Year edition (linked above).

    Give those a shot and let me know if they work. If you are still having issues, post back with what region you're located, what region your account is set to, and any screenshots you can provide to help us out. We can sort this out further from there!

    Thank you for your reply. The GOTY edition is able to be purchased however I do find it strangle why the base game isn't available.
