The xbox series X still warm after shutdown with instant on

Totally normal. The fan will be running you just won't hear it. When running instant on your console is in low power mode, it's still on. If it does game or system updates it will get warmer.

yes i know but i turn it off and it even being 3 days off, it seems that it was on because it is very hot, as if it were working

The Xbox Series X in instant on mode does still create some heat, its down to the SSD, which are well known for running very warm.

If your concerned perhaps turn the instant on mode off.

I have experienced this issue with the last 6-8 Alpha Skip Ahead OS previews.

I've reported this issue using Report a Problem several times on my new Xbox Series X.

It always occurs after restarting console from Instant on.

A simple restart of the console from the Power menu or a Full shutdown resolves this issue for me.

While it's true that the Series X can get rather warm in operation, it should not be loud. If it's loud, it's either been placed in a location where there isn't enough airflow or it's faulty. You'd be surprised how many users put their console inside enclosed cabinets or entertainment units and expect everything to be fine.

I have a Series X and I've played it for 3 to 4 hours on some weekends. It get's warm and I can feel this heat when I place my hand on top of the console, but it isn't at all loud, my Series X is really quite and remains quite during heavy usage. Mine is only slightly warm when on instant on.

Well this problem stinks, I've done the Reset and the full shutdown while also turning off instant-on mode temporary fixes all though. Seems that even the summer X units are still affected.
