    It was definitely rushed trying to beat Sony and there were a lot of features missing that should have been in the console at launch. To make up for lost time we're now getting monthly updates with features that the console should have had at launch as well
    as new features.

    The Xbox One slim cannot have more powerful hardware. It's a console, it is stuck like this until 2020 at the earliest. And the controller should not have any changes. You are NOT allowed to have varied input devices for a console, it is an equal field as
    far as equipment is concerned. A fair field, same graphics, same framerate, same input devices.

    I'd love to see it get smaller, if I ever get a new one I'd like it to take up less space.

    I understand that the Xbox One slim will not have more powerful hardware. The biggest appeal to me regarding the "slim versions" of consoles is the fact that more energy effecient chip sets (like the Xbox 360) will lead to less power consumption, which
    means that it is going to be much cooler (thus extending its life span).

    Yeah, I hope to get a smaller Xbox One sometime.

    By the way, I think that the main problem of Xbox One isn't really it's size, but it's hardware, which makes the console inferior to PS4. And I don't know if Microsoft are ever going to improve XOne's power side, because 360 hasn't been really changed in
    that direction.

    this sucks i got 4 xbox in the house 3 old one slim running the dashboard beta and that the only one that i can use. tired wired and wireless and it wont work i wonder is there some different chip in the slim compared to the old . i have one old running
    wirelss the first adaptor the second running the new adapter one old wired and the slim wired. i turned my phone into a hot spot and the slim works that way so yes its time warner but only the slim xbox has the problem that is wierd
