The XBOX ONE S controller suddenly broke down.

I've been using the XBOX ONE S controller well before, but yesterday, the controller was turned off suddenly during the game with a Bluetooth connection to the computer body.

I thought the controller battery was dead, so I tried to replace it with a new one, but the controller power was not turned on.

Even if the USB connection is made via the computer body and the micro 5 pin, the controller does not respond to power.

The OS environment of my computer is Windows 10.

It has been more than a year since the purchase, but the actual usage time is less than 100 hours. This fact is so sad.

What's the problem? Give me a solution. plz...

(Note that the controller has never been dropped, shocked, or stained with liquid.)

Hi 은규김1, It's weird indeed. No shock or fall. Normal use and more power even by cable!?! The controller clearly seems to have a problem. I let you
see the elements of the support concerning a problem with a controller ( https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution ),
otherwise, you may have to try to create a repair ticket with or without the guarantee depending on its validity. Have a nice day anyway

Xbox 360 controllers heavy usage broke down after a while. My xbox one controllers under moderate usage have yet to break down.

My PS3's disk drive broke down and they wanted to charge me $150 to replace it... or $199 for a new PS3 with a controller, 2 games, and a bluray. Stopped playing Playstation after that lol.

Started with Xbox 360 S in 2012 then it broke so I got an Original. That one broke so I bought the final model E. Than I got a One S.

Over the course of almost 6 years none of my controllers have really had issues. I have a "Day One 2013" controller, a black 3.5mm headphone jack controller, the Master Chief controller, a "Project Scorpio" controller, the Gears 4 Elite and a black Elite
controller. The only problem I had was with my Gears 4 Elite controller with the back grip coming off. Other than that they all still work perfectly with 1,000s of hours of use (minus the Project Scorpio cause I don't want to use it). As for 360 I have roughly
10-12 different Official Microsoft themed controllers and 3 different 360's, including a day one model. That model didn't Red Ring until 2011, after being used almost everyday for 5 years. My OG Xbox still uses both the Duke and S model controllers that haven't
broke yet.

But as for someone who has dropped, stepped on, threw and slammed down multiple controllers over the years with not only Xbox, but Sony and Nintendo too. None of my stuff has broke or fell apart.
