The Xbox One OS: Overall slow performance issue

The Xbox One has been an overall slow performing machine since the first day of purchase. Even after the latest march patch, the OS still seems to chug along at a snails pace. Moving from game to home, pins, the store, and all general button presses take
an extrordinarily long time to execute.

I have ruled out all other possible causes like Internet speed or latency onset from the television. I do not use
Instant On at all due to major technical issues that come with it. More research online and it is quick to realize how this issue is fairly widespread and agreed on: Simply that the OS and hardware cannot keep up with basic functions and tasks, like
opening a friends list or any other application without sitting and thinking about it for awhile, even tapping a single A button visualy lags on the screen before seeing the execution. Hopping back to the 360 and these issues dissapear. Hard resets occasionaly
bring back a little performance but are not a solution.

Is there any response to this issue?

Are there planned performance tweaks?

If a microsoft mod replies, are you aware of this issue?

The higher your Upload and Download, the better your connection.

The lower your Ping, the better as well.

Not had any performance issues with the OS.

You say you ruled out Internet Speed, how did you do that? Did you disconnect your Xbox One from the Internet? If not, try that and see if the OS speed improves.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. Also my current internet speeds have been 65Mbps down 7.5Mbps up. I have no shortage of Internet speed or bandwidth to any of my other devices.

 

I do not experience any of these performance issues. My console is snappy and very responsive. Not sure what would be causing your issues but I hope you get them resolved soon. Good Luck!
