The Xbox One Is Still Woefully Broken.

I don't mind not seeing ads, that's your problem they never load any more on my system. Though not seeing my Pins, nor have a store tab is annoying.

But your party system is still broken. It still doesn't work as well as it did on the Xbox 360. And the Netflix and Hulu apps are STILL broken. Just as broken as they were DAY F-ing ONE. Voice commands cannot get me to my Que in Hulu. It's the only thing I
care about when I go there. Not kids, not tv, not trailers, not movies. My QUE is what I want to look at and watch as my main stop.

In Netflix you still have shows that top loading at 99%, and no amount of rebooting the system or the app will make those episodes load. Episodes that have ZERO issues playing on the Xbox 360 Netflix app.

Could you make the Xbox One at least as good a console as the Xbox 360? I guess you're all still trying to figure out how to get it all working. I guess in the mean time I'll just continue to use my Xbox 360 to watch media and talk with friends. Obviously not
a system made by MS, since all the apps and software works on it.

^That is why I won't even bother with PvP... if you need to jump through that many hoops in order to be 'competitive' or at the very least not be "woefully short"... it's broken. Simple as that.

You're comparing a brand new console to an established 7 year old console that had years to get to where it's at. The XB1 will be more than the 360, but it will take time to get updates. Microsoft is listening to its gamers on what they want. They are
doing what they can, and if they rush the updates, things will be filled with bugs and people will complain.

 

@CMUChippewa: that is a TERRIBLE excuse. While it's true that any console in the modern era will take time to "be all it can be", it is ridiculous to excuse Microsoft for flubbing so much, so badly on Xbox One after getting so much, so right on Xbox 360.
Their experience building out 360 should have ensured they had enough expertise, skill and understanding to get Xbox One at *least* up to the level of its predecessor by day one, and they failed to do that. 4 months later, they've *still* failed to do that.
Saying "It's new!" doesn't excuse the state in which they launched this system. Not at all.

Customers are angry. People who were once proud to wave the Xbox banner, like me, were essentially slapped in the face. No matter how loyal people claim to be (and none of us should be loyal to corporate brands *at all*), it is absurd to expect people to
just shut up and be happy with what they've been given, when they've paid a premium price and been handed a lackluster product.

In the fullness of time, you are correct: Xbox One will be a superb system. But it *should* have at least been as good as its predecessor the day it hit store shelves.

 

The March update was supposed to fix stuff, and it didn't. I shouldn't have to keep looking to the next month, cross my fingers and hope they'll finally have a system that does everything as well as its predecessor.

CMUChippewa, you're absolutely right. I completely forgot about that when the Xbox 360 released XBL was worse on the 360 than it had been on the original Xbox, and the Xbox 360 had less features. .....

.....Oh, wait..no, I have that wrong. When the Xbox 360 released it wasn't a step backwards from the previous console at all. Silly me for expecting the same thing to happen this time around.

I could be more patient on "next gen" features if the Xbox One had last gen features like a functioning party system, and a stable XBL, and functional Netflix/Hulu apps.
