The Xbox One Has Been A Disappointment So Far

It shouldn't screech. Xbox 1 is suppose to be whisper quiet you shouldn't hear it if you're sitting like 2-4 metres away. Maybe a fault turn it in for warranty (comes with a 12 month warranty).

I love the controller. Although it may feel cheap in some areas like the RB and LB buttons a bit plasticy, the controller does not feel like a behemoth compared to the wireless controller for my Xbox 360 slim console or to the Xbox 1 console itself. The
analogue sticks are a joy for me they move very fluid. But the controller does have an over reactive vibration motor(s) built inside it.

As for download speeds, my house has ADSL Broadband averaging 8MB/s down and 0.9MB/s up (this is normal speeds for standard ADSL Broadband speeds). However from my experience downloading is faster on Xbox 1 than on my Xbox 360 slim 250gb console. Downloading
a 1.2GB update file for 360's TDU2 I did months ago, took me just over 2 hours to complete. But downloading such files on Xbox 1 doesn't take anywhere that long. Even my ping is high around 200ms only cuz Australia and NZ... are the furtherest countries from
the US servers.

As for the Dashboard I agree not everyone likes it. But M does release updates to improve it. I've had it since Launch and they've made several improvements. Dashboard is faster to navigate with only the controller since launch, Dolby sound support, external
HDD support, recent players list added, battery indicator added. And the Kinect is awesome can use it to voice chat, voice commands, video chat, play certain games, and easily read Xbox QR codes. The fact that they've made many changes since launch and policy
reversals regarding Kinect and 24 hour mandatory online checks, they've even created an official feedback site, means M is listening to feedback. They are not a heartless company who don't care about their members.

I bought my one 3 days ago good graphics I but that's it everything about it sucks to many problems from no sound, server time outs no transfers on purchased material. I hate this console....... and I hate Microsoft even more terrible customer service ridiculous
redundant security bs to deal with im returning this garbage and going sony........................

Pretty spot on! Especially no baseball game. If I had a mulligan, I'd stay on 360!

I have none of these issue what-so-ever. Might be a bad re seller that sold you a faulty machine, or bad internet or something else.

I run a 150/20 connection and have no issues. My only complaint so far is I wish I could choose what side of the screen I want my snapped apps on.

Xbox One is new, there is another update coming out soon, and I am very looking forward to what Xbox has in store for the future.

And amassed a gamerscore of 4035, which judging by your completion rate of the games you've played is almost as small as your attention span.

Enjoy last gen at 1080p and try not to bang your head on the way out.

Assuming you're not trolling, exchange the console you just bought at your retailer for a replacement. The Xbox One system is virtually silent. If you're hearing screeching, something is wrong.

Once you have a replacement, try again.

 

Mine is sooooooooo quiet and as for downloads takes me 15/20 mins

 

dashboard still has a lot of work ahead of it, but my X1 is totally silent. and maybe the slow downloads is an issue with your region? i only have a 50mbps connection and every game i down maxes out the connection until the download is done.

 

Xbox One just bought, below average gamerscore and a free account. Yes, seems like you have a tonne of experience. Just an fyi, the PS4 is also riddled with bugs.

 

Just as a reference guide, the Xbox One is 90% of the time silent. When the fan is audible it is still quieter than the continual noise that comes from the PS4. I know because I used to own a PS4 as well.

1). I have already called MS and got a replacement shipped to me, which will be here in 3-5 days, plus I got 1 month XBL for the trouble, which is nice.

2). @DarkVictory23 - the benefit of 3 things downloading in one go are that I can have 3 games downloaded in 10 minutes rather than 1 game taking 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes then another 10 minutes. So its 10 minutes
vs 30 minutes. Also I could have a Game and movie download at the same time, jump into some MP action and then watch the movie...

4). @Azrael008uk - my original account with over 55k GS got reset because I had my brothers account on my Xbox and when switching profiles in gears, it glitched an achievement...believe it or not, it was done by
accident and thus resetted. Rest assured, I don't really care for my GS, but was a bummer that it was reset...had an original Xbox at launch and original 360 Premium on launch as well as the Elite & Slim.

I don't see what you have against the settings, OP. It's all organized by category! I personally find it very easy to use...

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Sony absolutely did NOT take a giant leap forward. Besides graphics, both machines are practically the same.
