The Xbox One Gold link (tile or app) doesn't work...

Hello!

I Live in Sweden. I have an Xbox One console and a paid Xbox Live Gold membership.

Still for some weeks now I can't use the Gold offers with free games, etc. when I click the tile that says "Gold". There's only an error message coming up that says (I now translate from Swedish to English): "An error ocurred when trying to open the window.
Try again later...". Then I can only click "Close". This is not an app that can be removed and reinstalled, so I guess it (its a link or a tile or whatever it is called) comes as a standard when you buy the console...

But this problem has been going on for like a month now... I used to be able to access this link this before though...

I've tried to restart and do a hard reset of the Xbox but that doesnt help. The problem persists...

I have 2 camera shots of the error... But dont know how to upload them here...

Can anyone help with this please?

Where is my Gold tile?

I bought a 12 month paid XBox Live Gold subscription today (about 10 hours ago) and I still don't have the Gold tile on my menu. I currently have the "Go gold for $1" tile. When I open that tile it wants me to buy Gold again. When or how does that get
replaced with the Gold subscription tile?

When I go to Settings, Account, Subscriptions, I have "Prepaid 12M XBox LIVE Gold, Expires 1/1/2017" listed. Other Gold/Live features seem to work, but where is my Gold tile?

my regular games are suddenly white outs or errors...WHAT is going on with Xbox games?

The fex extra tweaks didn't help me, but maybe it works for you (if you haven't tried already) ... I suggest you try the Support Chat of Support phone, they at least try to help you. Let me know if anything changes on your Situation, maybe it helps us too

I installed the xbox update today - and everything works again now!

Its working now and because of an automatic update of Xbox one yesterday.

On the Xbox One home dashboard scroll to the Xbox Live Gold tile which should be the second to last in the first row after the tiles of your recently used apps. You should then be re-directed to the dedicated Xbox Live
Gold section of the Microsoft Store and under Featured you should see a tile that says "Claim your Ultimate Gift". After selecting that tile, you should be able to claim the offers for Discord Nitro granted you meet the terms and conditions that will be listed
in the footer. Alternatively, you can find the tile to claim your offers by going to the Game Pass tab on the home page (press RB).

you should just be able to right click on the app icon and uninstall it that way!

This doesn't work with the Xbox app, it is integrated with the Windows 10 system, it requires you to use powershell as described in the link previously posted.

That being said, removing the app is almost pointless, it uses almost no space and zero system resources when not in use. If seeing the tile bugs you, just unpin it from the start menu.
