    The xbox one controller A button is loose.


    So very recently my A button on my controller has been very loose to where it doesn't even feel like I'm pressing it anymore its probably due to playing gta and red dead 2 all the time but does there happen to be a way to tighten it up or do I have to
    get a whole new controller?

    Unfortunately my controller warranty is voided due to me cleaning it but this was about 3 days before the warranty was off. So I guess after this crisis new controller I suppose?

    I have a controller with a semi-loose A button, although it's never bothered me enough to return it. Please contact MS support to see if it's under warranty.

    Depending on the age of the controller it may still be under warranty. Microsoft do make it easy to check here, but other than
    that you may need to replace it.

    With regards to attempting a repair on it yourself, I don't know how viable it is, but you may find someone else here that knows more about that than I do.

    Try another controller if you have one? I am not sure if it is the controller but the buttons do tend to get loose and cause double button actions over time.
