    The Xbox One "All-in-One Entertainment Console" Lie


    The idea that the Xbox One is an entertainment system is one of the best advertisement LIES I've ever bought. What a stupid product to buy if you are an occasional gamer hoping to use the system to watch TV, movies, and listen to music.

    • You can't even play MP3 music locally
    • The designers make the dumb assumption that we all want to be online always. Why the hell do I want to be online when I'm watching a frikkin DVD? Because of the assumption many apps fail when a server error occurs. Wonder how many support calls they get
      everyday because of that stupid design assumption
    • MS has invested so much into Xbox Music that if you are a user how dare you think an entertainment system will allow for alternatives like Spotify, Google Play, etc.
    • Audio CD Player works sporadically - wow, an entertainment system that struggles to play a CD?
    • The console eats up power, oh, and lets not forget you will keep changing batteries unless you get the rechargeable one, which also eats up power.
    ...and on and on and o

    Nice job Microsoft, for selling me your lie. Besides Visual Studio and SQL Server I'll never purchase any of your *** products anymore. No wonder your company is going to ***. You can't design or create anything anymore. Do you even test your crap before
    release????????

    HBO Go for the XBOX One

    Please, get this app updated for the One already. No HBO Go and the XBOX One doesn't stream movies or music from your PC like the 360 used to, there is no UI from the console. For a "all in one entertainment console" the XBOX one is a major disappointment
    so far, Im thinking of boxing it back up and returning it.

    It's an entertainment device. It's rare you'll even see MS refer to it as a console in their marketing. They do occassionally but if you go the Xbox One site the first text you see is "

    Introducing Xbox One

    The all-in-one entertainment system."

    Well the question was mainly regarding the Entertainment for All consoles. For example, those that recently got their 360's this year... Are we stuck with these consoles even way past the release of the Xbox One. I got mine in February... meaning it hasnt
