The Xbox "Elite" controller problem

I want to report on this problem that I know every person is having that bought the "Elite" controller. The product is defective and needs to be taking of the market or just needs to be carefully looked at.

I bought my first one with the Elite bundle. The first "Elite" controller lasted 6 months then it started getting a Drift problem with the Left analog stick moving on its own or not moving at all some times, I then contacted Microsoft support and they were
very kind enough to replace it. Then after receiving my second "Elite" controller it only lasted about 2 months, this time it was a loose Analog/Thumb Stick, and again Microsoft replaced it. And now I received my THIRD "Elite" controller this time after 3
days I noticed that it is making a weird cracking noise like plastic or paper being moved. The "Long lifetime" of this "Elite" controller just doesn't last (6 Months -> 3 Months -> 3 Days), Okay I might be taking this a bit far even though the last issue doesn't
effect performance at the moment but it is becoming an annoyance and the problem might get worse. I am still holding on to the trust I have in Microsoft ,but I fear that if I replace the current one it will be defective again. I hope that this problem will
be fixed and all the people and community that trust their product will have a good response to this issue.

I am sorry if this might have sound offensive to the Microsoft company and their products but I wanted to give my feedback and state what I am thinking

Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition stops responding

So, I see we are the only two people with the Xbox One X that are having this problem. One question I have for you, are you using the Elite controller? It seems Xbox support has no answers except to power down, power up, reboot the router, make sure everything
is upgraded, on one leg and swing a rubber chicken over your head, etc... The only time I have this problem of no response is when using the Elite controller with the X. When I switch over to the standard controller I have no problem. If I use the Elite on
my Xbox One day one edition with the Elite I have no problem.

Unfortunayely it's a factory issue, i do not have this problem with my elite controller but 2 of my friends have it.

i bought first batch on pre-order as well back in October 2015, the rumble motor came loose inside controller in December 2015 or Jan 2016. They replaced within 2 weeks. I was playing NHL 16 back before 17 came out and my right side joystick caved in roughly
1/8-1/4" and I've been dealing with the diminished circumference for months but it is now starting to drift upwards severely. My warranty is over on original "elite" but this replacement should have it's own, no? If they don't replace this under 1 yr warranty
on defect from date of replacement I'm buying 3rd party. no other basic controller ever had these problems and i went through 10 regular controllers over the course of 360's life and 3 Xbox one controllers before i pre-ordered the "ELITE" controller.

Oh and I had to register original controller over phone before repair, never has shown as registered device in my account, i also called the support guy that helped me and registered new controller, doesn't show up registered in my account either. I F******
know this is gonna be a hassle to sort it out.

 

Yeah I know what you mean, I think they should just take it of the market because like trailer they made for it and how people are say it is is a solid controller and last longer than the other I think they just paid those people a lot of money to say those
things.
