    The Xbox App Remote Play is not functioning correctly


    The xbox app itself freezes up and the xbox remote play to my phone doesnt respond to my controls on my phone, idk if its a console error Or a phone error Aswell as I am not using my controller for this And it keeps saying the xbox app is not responding

    I understand your frustration, but you already did all the troubleshooting steps that the Xbox Support told you. It's a bug hapenning with other users and there's not much we can do about it besides reporting it to Microsoft developers to fix it.

    I got the answer from the admins on the Discord site. I needed to switch to the XBox App and stop using the Console Companion App.

    You can try to wait for an update from Microsoft, or you can submit a feedback to inform Microsoft developers about the bug:

    - Go to Start, search for Feedback Hub.

    - Enter the details of your issue/the bug.

    - Press Submit.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Does it happen to any games you're trying to play via remote play?

    Please try to delete the Xbox app and reinstall it back and setup your remote play again. Make sure to follow the guide here correctly https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/game-s...

    Alternatively, try to connect to a different network as well.
