    )My Xbox 360 Slim occasionally sounded an alarm, turned it on and played normally most of the time, then stopped sounding the alarm for a while. But sometimes he shuts it off within a few minutes of starting it. The alarm doesn't come up all the time sometimes it doesn't come up

    Go to System Settings -> Storage > Press Y when you have highlighted your HardDrive > Clear system Cache If it doesnt work try to remove your hard disc and put it back in.

    Yes on the xbox slim the one side vent will get pretty hot if you are using it continuously. It is nothing to be alarmed about and is perfectly normal.

    Find the 2 alarms and snipe them from a distance. It works like a charm. They can't sound the alarm if it's broken !

    if it is anything like the 360 slim, unplug it from the outlet and the 360 (or just the 360 if you have a slim model) and let it sit for a few minutes 10 should do it, plug it back in and the sounds SHOULD work. I know unplugging the 360 slim for a few
    minutes fixes the 'missing sounds' on them.
