The XBLPET is horrible service.

The XBLPET has become a weapon for trolls in games. They know how the system works, they will taunt you in game in the hopes of you sending a message they know will get you banned. The XBLPET is a measure of ineptitude and/or laziness, it is a brutalization
with only the purpose of punishment rather protection; one text message bans you from ALL communication.

Under the guise of creating a safer environment, they fail. We've all heard how people, kids talk to each other in their lives, in schools, at work, even our presdidental candidates jest in threaten peoples' lives with impunity. Yet, the XBLPET is delusional
in thinking they're making anything safer when it is ONLY about abuse of power on their part. It is hypocritical that xbox has no problem with games like GTA with language FAR exceeding the xbox policy but insists people not use the same language while messaging.
You can not legislate morality, it is not your place!

The very notion that they can control peoples behavior by brutalizing peoples' accounts in akin to fascism. The experiment is three years old, it failed. There are enough mechanisms for people to protect themselves, the XBLPET should be disbanded.

Trying to sign up for xbox live is a hassle its almost impossible because half of the apps don't even work. I don't recommend this console I'm very disappointed

I agree as well. I've been called racial slurs and derogatory terms and do they respond? NO! but i retaliate without the use of any of those terms i get my comms banned. Its a failed program that needs to be gutted.

 

seriously? its very hard when your being called a racial slur by every 5th player in the community. the problems that these people think their safe to use hateful language behind the wall of anonimty. remove that wall and i bet they'll shut up quick!

 

Nothing wrong with the XBLPET, they do a role that's needed, if you react to what someone is saying whether in a message or voice, you can decide to ignore them, report, mute, block and move on.

I agree with you entirely what we need to do is get more and more people behind us when we are on xbox talk to people who feel like we do and have them come here and comment and discuss this for all the staff and moderators to see the only way things will
change is through numbers and if we just keep posting separately and in few numbers and just hiding in the shadows being afraid of being banned we get nowhere if we want it changed we need to stick together and bring more people to our cause. The guilty get
away Scott free and the (slightly aggravated) yet ultimately innocent get hurt.
