The WoT helped me, a lot!

This game helped to teach me to AVOID " Free-to-Play" games & I am very thankful for that lesson!

If you enjoy the WoT, then that's great! I hope that you continue to enjoy it. It doesn't bother me if you do!

If it BOTHERS YOU that many of us DO NOT enjoy the WoT, then that's YOUR problem.

How does it compare with WOT

WOT and TitanFall shouldn't be compared since there is a lot to do outside of the Titans. Is that the case with WOT?

 

you don't have to be racing against people to have some fun....

I helped a lot of racers on Overwatch and this helped me to reach the highest level very fast...

 

The game is not for everyone, but since it's a free game, what do you have to lose to try it! It's completely free with regular updates adding more tanks and new features almost every month.

This reply is wrong on so many levels, that it's difficult to count them all.

In my opinion, the Waste of Time is just a bad game that needs people to artificially "pump it up" with hype or to distract people from its flaws. They want you to get addicted, so that you will waste your money, over & over, again.

As a BETA tester for the Waste of Time (360 version), I can tell you that they don't care about any SUGGESTIONS on how to improve the game (based upon their reactions to EVERY suggestion that I have ever seen). Those people will harass anyone & attempt to
bully them into submission. If their product was actually GREAT, they would just laugh off any criticisms. The fact that they get defensive & belligerent tells me that they know it's a junk game.

KNOW the type of people with whom you are dealing & you will see them for what they are.

The BEST part of his post is how MAX uses "we" & "our players" when he refers to YOU, as well as the (paraphrased) Jimmy line from the South Park episode ("what do you have to lose to try it"?)! WG has to PAY people to push their "great game" on NEW users
to replace the ones that have grown tired of the bad construction and dumped it.

If you like dealing with these people, by all means, continue. It's your time & money that you're wasting...not mine.

I am in agreement with Max on this one, Suggestions are always looked at by the WoT staff and if you have any issues there are always members of the staff willing to help.

Your thinking that the devs/mods do not listen to their player base is flawed on so many levels, If you want a better example of a games company that did bully people for their suggestions then you should have joined in on gears of war 2 and 3 forums where
threads were closed down almost as soon as they went up for suggesting improvements to the game.

I can understand the game isn't for everyone, I myself get frustrated by stupid teammates but its just something you have to deal with and isn't going to happen every single game unless your really unlucky.

Not to sound confrontational or anything but why if you hate the game so much do you keep posting on these forums about how much you dislike it instead of just forgetting about the game.

 

Everyone gains from discussing the honest PROS and CONS about any game.

Perhaps you should start your own post(s) extolling the virtues of this game, rather than tagging along and trying to bother people posting legitimate grievances.

I'm going to help you out.

How GREAT the "spotting" system is.

Or, how good the match making system is.

Or, how accurately the guns fire.

Or, how GREAT it is to have NO selection of the maps or game mode you will play.

Or, how good it is to be the lowest tier tank in a match.

Or, how good it is to have wooden and stone buildings that you can't damage.

Or, how good it is to have maps that are too small.

Or, how good it is to have randomized damage and/or penetration.

This should be easy for guys that LOVE this game as much as you do.

I have at no point said i love this game, I have on many occasions said how frustrating the game can and will be.

I do also agree with aspects of the spotting system, Take it this way how can a 183 be sat out in the open with absolutely no cover and be shooting but be completely undetected at less than 100 metres by a T54E1 (ME)

I have also said how being 2 tiers lower in a match isn't a problem unless you are running stock, I know this because my first 6 games in a vk 45.02 A stock were against almost complete tier 10 lobbies in which i did't do a single penetrating shot.

I also agree in some cases to how horrendous the matchmaking system can be, A couple days ago i entered a match where the enemy team had 13 tier 10's in which there were 2 teams of 4, My team had 3 tier 10's and a platoon of 2, It happens and i simply deal
with it.

The accuracy of the guns is not an issue as if you check out historical facts of these tanks no single had anywhere near a continous 100% accuracy at range, So for that simple fact your gun in game shouldn't be fully accurate.

I agree that not being able to select a game mode is for me an oversight by the developers as i would prefer never to play an encounter battle as my team never goes to back me up at a circle especially on lakeville map.

Gun penetration and damage i really won't comment on because it's pointless i have posted many times on the supertest forums about ricocheting the most stupid of shots or having penetrating shots do damage which is lower than the lowest damage that the shell
can do just to leave the enemy tank on 1 health. (I'm looking at you borsig, 368 minimum damage and i roll a 271) but other matches i can sit there in the Borsig and pen an E-75 through the upper plate where there should be no physical chance of penetration
due to angle and height difference.

You see i can agree with you on many points regarding game mechanics but thankfully for the most part these problems generally only show themselves now and again for me.

 

On a side not i believe the reason that i can deal with the majority of the issues with this game is that for many years the gears of war series was all i played competitively and them games had significant issues with hit detection and lag.
