    The worst customer care


    Hi,

    I just want to share with you the worst customer care i have ever experienced.

    I bought £35 worth of gift cards at TESCO a £25 + a £10, the £25 went on no problem but when entering the £10 card it said deactivated. On looking on my receipt it said for customer services please refer to back of gift card. So i contacted xbox support
    via online chat and was put through to Daniel at first things were very polite and a thought this would be a quick fix. I provided all the details off the card, Daniel said he couldn't help as the card was deactive. so i sent him a photo of my receipt which
    showed the card as activated. He agreed that he could see that the card had been activated but he still couldn't help as it was showing as deactivated on his end. He told me to take it up with TESCO, i told him to read the receipt i had sent him where it said
    refer to gift card for customer care, but he still said there was nothing he could do, I explained that i had been with xbox since the original xbox had 4 xbox 360's due to red ring of death and now an xbox one and 11 years of xbox gold subscription, could
    he not just credit my account with £10 out of good will. Daniel then offered to get his manager which i agreed to, in the same chat still homing up as "Daniel is typing" i get hello this is Daniels manager how can i help? i explained the whole thing again,
    and again the response was you need to take it up with TESCO. I said why do i need to do all the leg work can't you phone TESCO and sort this out. He then responds with sorry David i am looking around but i can't see any phones here in the office!!! ok he
    and Daniel (or probably just Daniel) were clearly mocking me here and i was beyond annoyed!

    So i went to TESCO. They said sorry sir but it has been activated you need to take it up with microsoft, i agreed but explained the difficulty i had been having with Daniel and she made one phone call to her manager and they said as a sign of good gesture
    will activate a new card for me. I mean it was that simple. TESCO took the hit on that card after 1 minute conversation. Now microsoft everything is sorted thanks to TESCO but microsoft probably still have they missing £10 bunch of crooks.

    Sorry for ranting, i was just so angry by this whole event after all the money i have pumped into microsoft over the years. I wish i could just say i'm done with xbox and turning to Playstation, but unfortunately for me i have invested far to much into xbox
    already and all my friends are on there.

    The point was obviously missed on you. It's not the controller, it's the principle. This is the absolute worst way to handle customer care.
