    'The Witness' still not on AU or NZ Xbox stores


    Despite repeated queries to Microsoft and the game publisher of 'The Witness', no one has been able to tell me why it is still not available on either store despite being announced as a Sept 13 release.

    Has anyone heard anything about the delay or cancellation of the game's release here?

    GAMES WITH GOLD? No where to be seen in Australia

    Seeing the same issue, Im in AU, cannot get if for free via xbox.com, via mobile app, via xboxone or via in game add on.

    I have seen reports that it is working no problems in the NZ store

    IS NOVEMER RELASE DATE TOO LATE!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    would au and nz get it the same time as the us, or a few days later on?

    I don't have any answers for you but I came here looking for a similar answer.

    I was looking forward to Firewatch which is available on the Australian PS4 system and I believe The Witness is also available there too. So it leads me to conclude that this isn't an Australian rating problem but lies solely with Xbox Australia and they
    don't release it for whatever reason.

    It's really frustrating, with a similar issue with The Long Dark which Australia is still yet to see on Xbox One.

    So sorry I don't have any answers, but I do feel your pain.

    Xbox One price too high

    When I joined mid-late 2010 the price of an Xbox 360 Slim 250gb console (slim versions released 2010 Aus/NZ) was NZ$449. Xbox One at launch will cost NZ$749 so yeah it is kind of high. PS4 will sell for NZ$649 at launch - $100 cheaper. The only reason XB1
    is $100 dearer is because of the mandatory kinect. PS4 in Australia is AU$548 and XB1 is AU$598.
