    Wireless Display App

    The wireless display app has been availble to preview users since April, 2015. When will the rest of us have access to this app? I really want to be able to use Miracast to send video from Surface Pro 3 to the Xbox One. Failing that, how can I get to
    be a preview user? I don't know anyone who is one, so I can't get an invite.

    Hey Gunter!

    The Wireless Display preview app was made and remains available for Xbox Preview members. There has as yet been no mention of a release of the app to the general user base that I know of. To get the app,
    one needs to apply for and be accepted to the Preview Program.

    I hope this clear things up, let us know if we can further assist in this or any other inquiry!

    This is what support told me to do.

    This it's absolute bull. I just want to use the wireless display app that has been only accessible to beta testers since April. How long does it take to approve an app and allow the public to use it. There is nothing wrong with the app, even if there was
    it should have been fixed in the last 5 months and released already. They had no problem releasing Windows 10 without proper driver updates, buttons wireless display app still isn't available to the public. Most likely because it might affect their sales of
    their window hdmi dongle!

    RELEASE THE WIRELESS DISPLAY APP ALREADY!

    The Wireless Display app is still being tested in the preview program. No word on when it will be released to the public. You need that app in order to project the display to the Xbox through miracast.
