The weirdest glitch I've seen in Titanfall

I was playing it last night when this happened: -



I don't even know what happened, as I was using auto-eject, but my pilot left the titan, was blown up by my own nuclear explosion, then when I respawned I was in crazy acid trip land, lol.

I've seen this error a few times in the past and attributed it to some weird glitch.

I'm very *** at the moment, I finally sit down to enjoy titanfall and I can't freaking sign in. I'm so tired of all these glitches. This game system has the most glitches I've ever seen. Get it together Microsoft.

Sigma, that is exactly what happened to my screen yesterday afternoon, EDT. I posted in another thread this morning about it, & one other visual anomaly I experienced.

I was in a good group at the time so I played through it if you can call it that, I just crouched and lobbed grenades from my Maglauncher until someone dispatched me, or I blew myself up. lol. I was hoping it would go away in the next round, it did not.
I shut down and restarted to get rid of it.

Did yours linger as well? I'm not sure if my tactical situation was similar to yours or not, I should have recorded it too. I was in Boneyard playing Attrition when mine went bonkers.

 

That glitch borked the game for me until I did a cold boot of the console. I thought it was fixed after I respawned, but when the round was over and I went back to the menu, I selected Burn Cards and the cards appeared but they were flickering in and out
of view. I exited the game completely and fired it up again, but all I got was a black screen. I reported it to Respawn, but it's probably a tough bug to track down and I doubt it's a high priority as it's only happened to me once in over 150 hours of game
time, and you're the only other person I've seen who's had the same issue.

 

Good to know. Should it happen to me again, I will record, upload and report it to Respawn. I also had your issue with Burn cards and several other odd flickering's at Titanfall's home screen. Tha'ts when I restarted my console.

I've only played about 18 hrs so far, hopefully that is the only time I see this.

This happened to me, I thought my Xbox was going bad...

Glad I am not the only one.

 

This happens to me on occasion, usually triggered by a graphics intensive event... there is also another odd in game graphics glitch as well, where the score keeping window goes white... with each instance, I have to fully unplug the console itself to clear
it... I have a suspicion that it's a memory issue between the game and the graphics card, as each event happens only after long periods of play...

 

I didnt watch the vid, but some video card glitches from in the console can cause some WTF moments. I had seen them in Black Ops. Spawned in and the map was a weird green color with weird textures. Backed out and rebooted (that was on the 360 though) and
it cleared up. A dev was in the forums and said it was a video card thing.

 

I had another weird glitch tonight. I was playing attrition with a GA24 and the auto-pistol. I ran out of ammo in the GA24 when shooting at a pilot, so I switched to the auto-pistol and finished him off. I reloaded the pistol, switched back to the GA24 to
reload it, but it wouldn't let me. Pressing X no longer did anything and every time I pulled the trigger to fire, it would automatically switch from the GA24 to the auto-pistol and start firing.

 

^^It wouldnt reload because you had no ammo. Just guessing.

 

Ill also add that jumping into a Titan will "reload" all your pilot weapons and nades to max.

 

@Uneasy - You know, I've played Titanfall for about 160 hours and I had no idea you could run out of ammo. I've never run out in any game with any other weapon, even when I've gone 20+ kills to only 1 or 2 deaths. I think you're right, but it seems weird
that it holds so little ammo. That happened quite near the start of the round.

 

I think this glitch is either a result of the video driver crashing or GPU overheating. This has happened to me numerous times...and it is infuriating. Seems to happen the most on that level.
