The way to bypass the problem

So go to settings then to accounts, payments and billing and it will ask for what account and click on yours it will simply bypass the auto sign in off the start it's simple and didn't take me long to get it got in one try is all it took. But it's just
a old school way I used on the 360 back in the day. Lol hope it help. Peace out

Any way to bypass HDMI sound?

I have a new 360 S. It's connected to my flat-screen via HDMI. I also have a toslink cable running from the optical digital port on the 360 to my receiver.

I have Dolby 5.1 selected in the audio settings, but sound is coming from my receiver AND my TV. Shouldn't choosing Dolby 5.1 cause the box to bypass HDMI sound and send it to the receiver via toslink exclusively? Am I just gonna have to mute the TV?

[/quote]No, either or both of those methods of output can and will send out Dolby 5.1 sound.

[/quote]You could do that, or turn the volume down to zero, or disable the TVs speakers. Personally I just have mine turned down to zero with my Xbox setup. In another setup I have the TV speakers disabled altogether.

 

What ? You are asking me to go into my account settings and then click on my account and do what ? I don't think the auto-sign in is the problem . I'm 100 percent sure it's Xbox Live Servers.
