The Warriors from Rockstar Games

Hello! I've been trying to play this awesome game for a while but have not been able to find it and I have no consol that can run it. So my thought was that maybe we can get it to become compatibale with the Xbox one! I don't think that there are any old
Xbox games compatible with either 360 or one (correct me if I'm wrong!) so would be fun to get some of those old timers in there.

If you don't know what type of game The warriors is; it's a fighting game with a Tekken type feel to it, with combos and a good fighting engine but it's almost sandbox at the same time. I remember loving this game with a co-op story mode and other game modes
like survival and king of the hill. You could play this game for hours alone or with friends because it was so versatile!

The game is ofcourse based on the old movie The Warriors, kind of lame but I still love that old classic! Hopefully people will bump this post and get microsoft to start working on compatability from Xbox -> Xbox one!

Ok, couldn't edit my post... It doesn't really have that Tekken feel to it but nice boss fights and weapons!

 

You can pick up PS2's for less than £10/$10 these days. Grab one and buy a copy of The Warriors pre-owned from an online retailer.

It was one of my favourite games on the PS2. Rockstar did a great job of inter-cutting it with the movie and giving real character to the characters who were pretty much one dimensional in the film. If they gave this game the GTA San Andreas treatment for
Xbox 360 or the X1 I'd buy it in an instant. =)

 

Quality game, i sometimes fire up the ps2 just to go kick some ***, very satisfying for taking out some rage especially when you spotted a big squad of Orphans and just rained punishment on em, as above if they spruced it up/remade it i would defo purchase
it without second thought lol

 

I would love to see Rockstar to a remake or remastered version of it. The Xbox 360 had some backwards compatible games from the original xbox, but I am not sure if The Warriors was on that list.

As for it coming to the Xbox One, I suppose it's possible. Wish Rockstar would do it.
