    Hi everyone, I have an issue with my xbox controller which needs to be repaired or replaced. I am unable to get in contact with UK Xbox customer services- the numbers provided with Microsoft North America region do work only to get a voice message with
    “goodbye end “ and no help... The real issue is that I have bought the controller from 3rd party ( a retailer) no Microsoft store. The retailer is refusing to take any responsibility for the product even the product has a 1 year warranty and I can’t get hold
    of Microsoft costumer services. It does feel that the warranty is a waste as you can’t use it. Can anybody help, please?P.S. I am trying to register my controller to activate the warranty and again no suprise- you can register any devices except the controllers!!!
    Update: the only way to get in conctact with Microsoft is online chat. I’ll give them a credit once you talk to them and the product has a valid warranty it seems to be working ( repair order was succesfully log in and I am waiting for a postage instruction).

    Hi Dark,

    I hear you. I would suggest repairing your current one, as it is cheaper and would come with somewhat of a warranty. Used devices have no warranty, and their history is a mystery.

    Well, since the warranty's already expired, I guess I'll follow your...now mysteriously gone advice and crack open my system to try and fix it myself. If I break it beyond use I can always send it to Microsoft or spend the extra $30 for a refurbished system.
