The Walking Dead GOTY Edition

I have the xbox 360 disk version, which is supposed to be compatible with the One.

I put in the game and it installs all the episodes but when I start the game all it lets me select is episode one and says all the other ones are "available to buy".

I own the complete game why to I want to buy the episodes again..

Is there a way I can actually play what I paid for or am I going to need to buy it again?

We understand that you're attempting to play all episodes from The Walking Dead GOTY Edition.

It is also understood that you're using a disc version of the game, to which we would like to provide more information about in reference to how
backwards compatible works.

The games available through the backwards compatibility program do need to be the same as listed, this would mean that any deluxe editions or GOTY Edition titles are not compatible.

The theory of what is occurring is that the first episode is purchased digitally through the account, and that is why it is the only episode that installs and or can be played.

Yes the game is in the drive, also tried without to rule out that as an issue.

I'm assuming you are keeping the disc in the drive when you play the game. The other episodes wont work without it in the drive.

I figured it out, the problem was being caused because after installing the game I moved the game to my external drive.

I reinstalled the game to my external drive directly and it's working as it should now.
