the up system update keeps kicking me out of my apps and games

Go to "settings" then "system"/"updates & downloads" & click the "keep my console up to date" box & you shouldn't be kicked out of a game for a console update.

What start up mode you have your console in is up to you,either instant on or power saving mode.

That's how mine is set up & it's in power saving mode & I've never been kicked out of a game for a console update.

To make sure your console is set to update automatically:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates.

Under Updates, select Keep my console up to date to update your console automatically and Keep my games & apps up to date to update games and apps automatically.

Hey thanks for replying quickly, i tried resetting the console keeping games and apps and it didn’t work , it just kicks me out of the game immediately

I appreciate your efforts. Our last resort here would be to perform a factory reset. There's an option to keep your games and apps though. This is to correct any potentially corrupted data. It's not guaranteed to fix the issue but we could try.

If you don't want to do that, best option is to wait instead and make sure that auto-update is enabled for your games and apps.
