The Trouble With XBOX & Games

You know you don't have to buy game gold/tokens if you don't want to? I don't understand the complaint.

 

Make sure any other profiles that may be signed in are signed out. I couldn't play the Titanfall Beta when my partners profile was signed in, despite me being signed in as well. I had to sign her out in order to access my content.

 

in FM5 you DONT NEED the cars you can purchase... but if you happen to like the certain Toyota that is not available in the game list but can buy it for $2.00... who really cares.. not like they are buying wins in MP.. I mean you still have to drive the
car into the winners position..

 

Listed had a quick go in a shop can't say i was that impressed really with it. But if you like it then hey it's cool.

If not thats why you dont understand the complaint, forza like any other new game has its problems. I have already contacted turn 10 not just over the game itself. But about its supposed community control (IE) the moderators. One in particular.

Now i said it before ill say it again i have already purchased DLC cars or one specificaly and payed the in game credits for it, i have recently gone to stay with family (visitation rights) and i took my xbox one because i will be there a while and when
i choose my car it wants me to pay for it again because rather than being tethered to the console or gamertag it appears its the internet (IP) or similer is what it knows and wants to charge you again because in its eyes you do not own it.

Even when its in "MY GARAGE" with my paint job etc.

And this is just one issue with just one game, battlefield 4 do i really need to bring

that game in to this ? Do you really not know howbadthat game is...

As suggested for there prices while the digi had a price cut from its original 50 odd pounds RYSE: Son Of Rome is over all a very short game that was completed by me in under 2 or so hours, granted the difficulty wasnt on hard but even still you expect some
what of a challange and some playability while it had some good moments it was hardly worth the £33 more like a sin bin price of £15 - 20 so far out of the 4 games i purchased TR Definitive Edition is the best game i have played so far. And even that had issue's
with freezing crashing and having to restart and it has had to my knowledge 2 updates, and it still occures none the less i have it completed and thus far, it was the most fun i have had in terms of gaming and functionality the rest are absurd.

Will i get Titanfall, no as suggested it will be overpriced and while it was a mediocre fun game as beta it is in no way worth the money they will charge for a next gen game. And will still most likely be with issue's as with all games, and i may be older
but what happened to goods built to last that were great quality off the get go ?

 

If you played Ryse on easy it is no wonder you finished it quick. Why even play it on easy. Don't gamers like a challenge anymore? Or is it so you can slam a game and get it back for trade to purchase your next.

 

It wasnt about slamming the game but it does depend how i feel, i expected it to be to hard on hard so lowered the difficulty having played that completed it went online to multiplayer and realised just how simple a game it was no amount of difficulty is
going to change that fact.

And you missunderstand its not about slamming the games, but for what they are there in no way worth the prices there charging especialy with for the most the problems there having.

BF4 was probably the worst of the games so far, and how do you trade in digital purchases apart from a solid copy of BF4 that came with my bundle its all been digi downloads why spend money traveling to your closest store when the digis cost the same ?

So your point about slam and sale are moot point.

I was kind of under the impression whats the point, story is still the same right ?

just going to have more enemys to swipe or they will take that bit longer to take down, point being is it will still be done the same way it will just take longer right ?

 

No wrong. It actually becomes more about timing and management. In many situations you actually can run out of time to complete missions as you were to busy not dealing with enemies.On the level with the Assault towers i took to long with hordes of enemies
and couldnt deal with the ladders and my archers died, which meant replaying the checkpoint and becoming better in my combat. Thats only on Centurian. I dont remember the last game i played on easy.

 

I finally saved Rome! Yay!

 

While i can understand the importance of timing, and better placement of combo's executions as with all games its ecentially the same just a harder run through to complete. While that isnt without merit i do feel its a case of once you have seen it, thats
just it you have seen it.

It may be a challange to accomplish but again back to my point, there not pushing any bounderies i have yet to come across a game im overly impressed with.

I mean sure in some cases graphics are outstanding, but i dont care about graphics.

I want a game that plays well and so far (for prices charged) none of the games imo are up to par. these could have been completed just fine on 360 with what they have done.

Infact correct me if i am wrong but asides forza 5 & RYSE XB1 exclusives didnt {Tomb Raider, BF4 & Ghost} come out on 360 also ?

So what was so special about them, and what made them worth the prices charged ?

 

Bf4 is a shadow of the X1 version as Ac4 just better textures and much smoother play on both. Ghosts I doubt there was a difference. All I'm saying is most games can be breezed through on easy I like to get my monies worth and have the challenge the way
a game was meant to be played. When it comes to money and if a game is worth it. You have to stop and listen to the Sound, music, artwork and then all the coding and stuff to see where the money goes. If you can't appreciate that maybe they need to make games
like pong or Pacman again. There is more to a game than playing it on easy and saying it's not worth it.

 

I take onboard the graphics like i said in some cases amazing, but in terms of playability i am NOT the only one to suggest that RYSE is a repetative hack & Slash game.

So it looks good and it could take a while on certain game modes, but just cause it could take you one hour or even four does not make it worth the money.

Like i said for a next generation game you would think that you could at least double tripple attack at your own descretion, but no your limited.

Meaning its not fluent your attacks to an enemy be it the one your aiming at or the one behind you, lets say you have thrown 3 X buttons @ said opposing attacker in front, but need to turn and block the said attacker behind.

If you hit that A button before the enemy hits it should indeed turn and block (Regardless of your three hit X button tap) but it doesnt you end up taking the hits and if your in online mode, going against certain enemys despite commando roll and blocks
inevitably your going to take hits (understandably that is the point to survive) but if your throwing supposed counter measures (IE) the commando roll and your still taking hits whats the point ?

You understand where i am going with this, its more than just graphics its what the games capable of and the way it plays.

So even if you have to wait on the x button to make its third attack, before you can have that A button

make its move when you hit commando roll which is an avoidance call supposedly you still cant avoid a hit until you have completed the previous commands.

In which case what type of BS is that even COD can allow a shoot stop run situation, which makes it appear a step backwards not forwards.

Again though its not just RYSE its all the games in general thati have purchased and played, they reallydont cutthe mustard and so what if it was on easy. If it wasnt intended why have it in the game as a mode. As i respectfully stated before being a next
gen game and expecting it to be something special i anticipated hard being REALLY hard and opted with taking a learning curb easy first off.

But alas wasnt what i thought it would be infact no where near, so ok yeah i go back through on uber hard difficulty it takes me 10 hours to complete what would be the pointits the same combination of moves executions same story just takes longer to complete
(again repetative and costly).

There for not exactly up to par for next generation gameing, if it was indeed about graphics only and this was stated upfront. I would have stuck with xbox 360 because quite frankly asides the controllers input/reactions the games play the same. As for smoothness
either your one lucky son of a gun, or your not seeing the same things i have. Theres nothing smooth about any of the games i have played full stop.
