    Hi, I apologize in advance for my bad English.

    I would like to tell you about my problem. And 'the last update my Xbox One has a problem with the disc tray. The disc tray does not call as I hold it. And 'as if the entry is "stuck" in the middle. In order to get the disc I have to force entry or do I get
    half of the disc and then press the eject button twice.

    I also noticed that the console makes a strange noise at each power cycle as if to retrieve the disc.

    This problem does not always but sporadically and has appeared with the last update. He does it for one or two days in a row and then the problem goes away for two weeks and then do it again.

    Also, if the disc tray is not engaged and I try to press the eject button the tray ejection performs the same as if the disc was inserted. He does not realize in practice that no-way is no disc inside.

    Do you think it is a software or hardware problem? I have to send it in for service?

    my xbox doesnt read the disc

    my xbox does not read the disc and the xbox warranty is gone i think the disc tray is broken

    REPEAT FOREVER AND EVER

    Basically, the xbox is ALWAYS in a state of opening the disc tray. As soon as the tray finishes closing, the xbox opens it again. It will never even begin to try and read the disc that you slip in.

    I got this xbox on black Friday last year.

    I'm in Korea right now so I'm not shipping the stupid thing back.

    No *** answers please, I don't have time for them. A *** answer would be something like "check the grounding" or "clean the touch sensor."

    Disc tray.

    The xbox one (s) doesn't have a disc tray and it was never meant to be opened.

    If you are referring to the 360 then that does have a tray that can open then it makes sense.

    You may have a bad laser you need to get it repair or just buy a new xbox disc tray they are about 50-100 bucks yea you may have a dirty disc tray called xbox support i hope this is helpful

    What's stupid is your idea of both trays needing to be active. It's a multi-disc tray--singular. One tray, one active game at a time. I personally play 2-3 retail games at a time, most of the time switching between all of them within a day. If my disc changer
    could swap between these without me manually opening the disc tray, it would reduce stress on the tray itself and the risk of damaging the said games just by handling them less. What is always the first thing to crap out on a console? The disc tray. Opening
    it less would help. And nobody is going to get fatter with a multidisc tray, lol. Why not just call everyone fat and lazy who order their games online as opposed to going to a retail store?
