The Titanfall Atlas headset is better then the XO sevens for xbox one.

The Titanfall headset is better because it serves as two headsets, you can use it as an Xbox 360 headset then by unplugging one cord you got your Xbox one headset.

Not only that It goes from a wired headset to a wireless headset. Also when its wired if you have optical out on your tv you can use it to listen to your tv , nintendo wii u or even playstation audio. You can also use it for listening to apps on your phone
or tablet.

With The XO sevens all you can do is use it for the Xbox One, you can't listen to your tv unless you have your cable running through your Xbox one, you also can't use it to listen to game audio from other systems like the Wii u. But you can still use it
to listen to apps on your phone or tablet.

If you are going to be buying one of these new headsets and are wondering which one you should get I hope this helped.

Anybody getting the Titanfall Headset?

Normally I would not either. The last gen I had a turtle beach which are 5 years old and still working that cost me €60. The fact is any headset I have seen for this gen has a price tag of over €140. The Atlas headsets are priced at €170 on the Gamestop
site and the XO Fours are €140. I seen a video from the developers on YouTube saying that the Atlas and XO Fours are the same but one is for Titanfall and works on 360/One. If this is the case I might just pay the €170 for the XO Sevens which are better. Problem
is paying so much for a headset i would like to be able to use them with my phone, computer etc, which the Atlas's allow you to do

Microsoft are forcing customers to buy new headsets for surround sound and chat capabilities, it's just like when they were taken to court for bundling Internet Explorer with Windows exclusively. The omission for this much needed update was made by Marc
Whitten according to engadget.com so if you want surround sound you will need to buy a new headset such as the Titanfall Ear Force Atlas official gaming headset, Ear Force XO Seven or Ear Force XO Four.

 

That's a lot of great features you've mentioned, but how's the actual sound quality between the two?

 

The Sound is identical the only pro to the XO Sevens is they are a bit more comfortable.

Although when i was using the XO sevens there was a bit of static but i think that might have been caused by the adapter because when i used them to listen to music on a phone it was crystal clear.

 

I just got my TB Titanfall headset, I can say I'm very happy with them and all the extra hardware to use them with just about anything.

Would they work on the ps4 as well? I assume.

 

@Merlin4421 I imagine the XO4/XO7 and Atlas would all work on PS4. They use regular connectors, and just like the XB1 the PS4 has the game audio go through the controller, so you would just need to plug in the headset into the PS4.

 

No you will not be able to chat on any other console other than Xbox One , Xbox 360 or Pc.

You can use the headset wired and plug them into your tv's audio output to get AUDIO to anything you have connected to any of the inputs on your tv, like a PS4 , Wii U etc.

 

I just learned that the new Xbox One headset adapter will work with my currently used X42 TB headset, so I will be getting that instead. Still, thanks for the input.

 

ty op for the tip. I wanted a new headset I could use to watch TV at night as well and these are perfect. I did not know the xo's didn't come with the extra cords. The sound quality is great and friends in my party said I sound great. My x12's with the
adapter crackled so that's a relief that these don't. My only complaint is that I can't hear myself in the headset to regulate my voice.
